Assigned individuals have usually been promoted from the craft levels and work in the operational training and methods areas in Underground Distribution. This subcommittee holds a concurrent breakout session during Underground Distribution Committee meetings in which they focus on the hands-on approach to specifications, materials and equipment used by engineers, and what it takes to use various products (and equipment) in the “real world.” The group also concentrates on operations training and safety issues.
